We stand on the shores of Lagos, one of the largest and busiest ports in Africa. Each wave that crashes here carries the movement of massive cargo ships, far on the horizon, transporting tons of goods from the outside world. We drift, searching for stories eroded by silence, invoking spirits, syncing with the more-than-human currents.

Proceeds from these artworks have been dedicated to supporting Green Fingers Wildlife, a Lagos-based NGO working to rescue endangered sea turtles and other vulnerable local species.
Created within the 2024 Berlin x Lagos Art-in-Residence programme, supported by Goethe-Institute and 16/16, in association with SAVVY Contemporary Gallery and ZK/U Berlin.
